ClearsightNews January 2011

Happy New Year and welcome to this first edition of ClearsightNews for 2011. I hope it begins to set you up for some further growth and success in the year ahead.

A Big Thank You  Over the course of 2010 I had the great pleasure of working with some new non-corporate clients through my Coaching-for-Charity initiative. Thanks to their generosity (plus a little bit of help from the UK Government in the form of tax a rebate) we have collectively managed to raise £1,538.46. This money has directly gone to Cancer Research UK a world leader in this field. I am about to draw this initiative to a close so if you have a few spare Christmas pennies knocking about then why not visit the following link Coaching-for-Charity.

What’s New  Just prior to the Christmas break we launched a new web site. Whilst this is still work-in-progress we hope you find it of help. Besides the pages you’d expect outlining our products & services free articles and resources can also be found on the Cognitions page.  Click here to see more...

Quote of the Week  Each week I will be sharing on the website and via a Tweet (see below) a favourite quote.  Some famous, some less so but each one explored to help in your development and provoke a shift in how you think of yourself and others. Check out what’s been written so far in QOTW.

Fancy a Tweet?  I daresay you will be well aware of Twitter and may even be using it yourself. It’s a great tool but in many instances it seldom describes more than what people have eaten for lunch!  My pledge:  to never mention lunch!  In fact I won’t really be using it for social means at all. Instead I will use it to share news, thoughts, observations and quotes to help in your development…and the great news is that you can even receive these ‘bites’ of insight on your mobile. See My Twitter Page for more information.

Top 5 Book for 2011  Here is my list of top five books for 2011. Some old, some new, some with focus on self-development, others on leadership but all great reads.
